Stuck on something? Below covers the most common questions. If you don't see your answer, email me.
How does Snipestats measure accuracy?+
Accuracy is bucketed by the configuration of holes that were active during a session. "Top-Left accuracy" only counts sessions where Top-Left was the sole open target — because that's the only time the number is actually meaningful. With all 5 holes open, the number you see is "all 5 holes" accuracy, not per-corner.
Why is "Camera tracking" grayed out?+
Auto-detecting shots with the iPhone camera is in development. The current version of Snipestats is tap-to-record only — you tap the corner you hit after each successful shot. Camera tracking will arrive in a later update.
How do daily streaks work?+
A streak day is any day where you completed at least one training session. If you skip a day, the streak resets to zero — except for the current day itself, which is forgiving until midnight. Notifications remind you before the day ends.
Where is my data stored?+
Everything is stored locally on your iPhone in the app's Application Support folder. No data ever leaves your device. There's no account, no sync, no cloud backup. If you uninstall the app, your data is gone.
What's the "iron" tally about?+
Pfosten und Latten — hitting the post or the crossbar. Optional; enable per session if you want to log them. They're counted separately from corner hits and don't affect your accuracy percentage.
What's an accuracy streak goal?+
A goal where the target is a rolling-window average (default 7 days). For example: "maintain 50% Top-Left averaged over the last 7 days." The goal is reached when your rolling average is at or above the target.
How do I reset my data?+
Settings → Data → Erase all data. This wipes sessions, goals, streak history, and resets every setting to default. There's no undo.
